<p>Quick, Pick Up Your Primary Key Epson Ink Solution - Differences In Just 5 Pre-Qualifying Ways<br>
By <a href="http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Joseph_Mercado">Joseph Mercado</a></p>
<p>How can I determine the key difference among each of the Epson
ink solutions?</p><p>Dear Friend,</p><p>There
are several key Epson differences when analyzing the multiple solutions
scoped out on its targeted media applications. In this article we will
cover the 5 main principles. This will diversify the individual output
pointing in the technology direction of;</p><p>o 4-Color
Dye</p><p>o 6-Color Photo Dye</p><p>o Durabrite
Ink</p><p>o Ultra Chrome Ink</p><p>o Archival
Ink</p><p>Each one holds its own print quality talent. The
different kinds of inks will define how intense the quality is based on
the selected media types used. In order to line up the different
comparisons where you can understand the standalone measures, you need a
good solid breakdown. Here are the mapped out
details;</p><p>4-Color Dye - Designed for general purpose
printing. This type of dye supports Epson C-series and also Epson Stylus
color series printers for basic printing projects. 4-Color Dye based
ink offers the broadest color gamut in addition to one of the largest
selection of compatible paper.</p><p>The types of inks used
will be known as dye Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black (or CMYK). The
great thing about this color dye is that it's water-resistance on photo
glossy paper.</p><p>Expect good quality on plain paper, best
quality on coated papers which have an expansive selection, best
quality on matte papers, bets quality on photo papers which contains a
moderate selection and specialty paper which will also demonstrate its
best quality.</p><p>6-Color Photo Dye - Specifically
engineered for long lasting photo images. Here, you will find most Epson
Stylus printers will use this type of print technology. The details are
considered to align symmetrically with 4-Color dye yet the light cyan
and light magenta inks level out and produce smooth gradient tone which
is critical for those involved with photography.</p><p>The
types of inks used are also known as Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, Light
Cyan and Light Magenta (or CMYKcm). Your resistance against light will
last up to 25 years according to the print technology at the same time
being water resistant on photo paper. With the supported media, you
should expect good quality on Epson plain paper, best quality on Epson
coated papers, best quality on matte papers, best quality on photo
papers and best quality on Epson specialty media
paper.</p><p>DuraBrite Ink - Optimized for plain paper
printing. With your Epson C80 supported printer, you will notice the
fine print quality in which this ink technology has to offer. It's wide
gamut on plain paper and its fair role play on photo papers.
<br>The type of ink used is called a pigment based ink. Pigment
ink is known to last up to 75 years. That means if the image is behind
glass, it should last as long as 100 years. Exactly how these numbers
are calculated is beyond me.</p><p>The ultimate way to
determine this calculation is to actually have someone who's lived for a
hundred years with the same photo printed from the Epson C80 printer
and live all the way through it.</p><p>By that time, 100 new
Epson printer models will have been introduced to the market. What's
good about this ink is that it too is water resistant on all media types
including Epson plain paper which performs one of its best qualities.
You will find better quality on Epson coated papers, best quality on
matte papers, good quality on Epson photo papers and better quality on
Epson specialty media papers which has a limited
selection.</p><p>UltraChrome Ink - Geared for signage,
graphics, arts-posters, prepress proofing and photography. I found in
recent studies the Epson Stylus Photo 2200 and Epson Stylus Pro 7600 and
Epson Stylus Pro 9600 are the supported printers for this ink
technology.</p><p>Although the pigment based ink is
versatile, it contains a color gamut stepping towards dye technology
with the portrait image of pigment ink. UltraChrome uses the following
ink types; cyan, light cyan, magenta, light magenta, yellow, black and
light black (CcMmYKk).</p><p>The UltraChrome ink will last
up to 75 years due to its light resistance. On top of this, you will get
water resistance on all media types including plan paper. You will find
good quality on Epson plain paper, better quality on Epson coated
papers, best quality on Epson matte papers, good quality on Epson photo
papers which have an expansive selection and better quality on Epson
specialty papers.</p><p>Archival Ink - Engineered for indoor
/ outdoor signage, fine art reproduction, high grade art photography
and what Epson calls Print for Pay. What this means is, Archival ink
provides consumers to print more and pay less with Epson's inkjet
cartridges.</p><p>The Epson supported printer notorious for
this type of printing technology is known as the Epson Stylus Pro 10000.
The Archival Ink provides a very good color gamut within Epson's
micro-encapsulated printing technology.</p><p>This allows a
wide range of media to be used with an extreme longevity behind glass
pro-longing its quality imager well over 100 years even with sunlight.
Keep in mind, no matter how thick the glass is, direct sunlight will
eventually diminish the photo quality instilled within the
portrait.</p><p>With Archival Ink, you should expect water
resistance on all supported media types. In addition, Epson plain paper
is not supported when conducting this realistic photo like images. The
better quality remains on the Epson coated papers which are enhanced by a
shiny look and feel.</p><p>Even better quality is found on
Epson's matte paper using this Archival Ink. If you're looking for the
best quality which to me is all personal preference, you have the option
of using Epson photo glossy paper. Specialty media paper is not
supported with Archival Ink.</p><p>Color Gamut - The
complete range of colors available within printing technology. For
example, the extent of colors possible from the three primary
(tri-stimulous) inks applied in different amounts and combinations to a
specific substrate. Or color gamut is another term for a color model or
color space used to describe visible colors used in
imaging.</p><p>Joseph Mercado is an author and speaker. He

How to Refill Epson Original Equipment (OEM) Ink Cartridges
Epson ink cartridges are refillable if you have the right tools and know-how. Learn here...<html>

<p>How to Refill Epson Original Equipment (OEM) Ink Cartridges<br>
By <a href="http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=L._M._Sealy" >L. M. Sealy</a></p>
<p>Previously, it was unheard of to be able to refill original
Epson ink cartridges. With the recent Trade Commission ruling,
restricting the import of many compatible and refillable ink cartridges
for Epson printers, new marketers have devised a way to easily refill
Epson OEM ink cartridges.</p><p>You'll need the following
tools, which are available through a couple online
distributors...</p><p><ul>
<li>Your empty original Epson ink cartridge</li>
<li>Two syringes, one with a special tip</li>
<li>Ink designed for as a direct replacement for Epson ink (cheap generic ink will clog)</li>
<li>Replacement ball plugs</li>
<li>Fill hole adapter - this converts your cartridge into a refillable cartridge!</li>
<li>Chip resetter</li>
</ul><br>Before you think this is really complicated, it's
not. It just seems like more until you see photos of how to do
it.</p><p>Here are the basic
steps:</p><p><ol>
<li>There is an ink filling port on the bottom of the cartridge
that was used by Epson for the original filling. This is covered with
thin plastic if you've not previously refilled your
cartridge.</li>
<li>Install the fill adapter by pushing it through the thin
plastic covering the refilling port. This should be inserted so that it
is flush with the bottom of the cartridge and not extending out. Very
simple.</li>
<li>Push the filling syringe into the fill adapter. (This syringe should obviously contain the right ink)</li>
<li>Insert the waste syringe into the ink exit port.</li>
<li>Inject ink into the cartridge with the fill syringe.</li>
<li>Remove both syringes and fill the place a special made rubber ball into the fill port.</li>
<li>Use the proper chip resetter to reset the electronic chip on the cartridge to full.</li>
</ol><br>The tools used to accomplish this are available
online. This is the same basic process used by cartridge remanufacturers
to refill original Epson ink cartridges. The quality of ink that you
use is very important, not only for print quality, but also to ensure
that the cartridge works properly. American made inks that are
manufactured to precisely replicate the print performance of original
Epson inks far exceed the quality of cheap generic
inks.</p><p>The best source in America for Continuous Ink
Supply Systems, Bulk Refill Inks, Refillable Ink Cartridges, Compatible

EPSON CX11 Compatible Toner Cartridges - The Next Best Thing to OEM Replacement Cartridges

<p>EPSON CX11 Compatible Toner Cartridges - The Next Best Thing to OEM Replacement Cartridges<br>
By <a href="http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Jeric_O._Tero" >Jeric O. Tero</a></p>
<p>The printer consumables aftermarket is dotted with retail
outlets that sell compatible toner cartridges for Epson laser printers
models such as the Epson Aculaser CX11. Nevertheless, Epson users need
to be meticulous in the choice of replacement cartridges and from which
reseller these are being sourced to ascertain that acquired consumables
are of good build quality. Toner cartridges that are not of build
quality do not meet industry specifications and are prone to print
quality troubles and lapses in print yield.</p><p>These
likely result to a wide variance in output quality and total number of
printed pages that is surely a far cry from the rating of its OEM
counterpart. Bleeding cartridges or cartridge units that leak toner
powder into the printer's internal mechanisms are typical symptoms of
inferior quality replacement cartridges.</p><p>Remember that
toner powder filling the cartridges are composed of fine particles
measuring 3 microns across in diameter. Therefore, when the build
quality of a compatible toner cartridge falls below accepted standards,
it is likely for the unit to cause undue harm to the laser printer. For
instance, the physical configuration of a cartridge's moving parts is
set using a computer-aided alignment system. Alignment is critical since
tolerance between surfaces that exceed 1/10,000 of an inch will surely
result to the leak of toner powder into the
cartridge.</p><p>Note that accurate alignment can be assured
only through the use of sophisticated equipment to boot. Since a
leaking toner cartridge will ultimately damage the printer, it becomes
mandatory for epson CX11 printer users to look for a compatible toner
cartridge manufacturer that can guarantee encompassing
reliability.</p><p>Of course, users need not buy OEM
replacement cartridges all the time just to be assured of the
consumable's build quality. Getting an OEM replacement each time the
cartridge runs dry of toner supply can be such a burden to regular laser
printer users in view of pricing and budget considerations. The
aftermarket can supply Epson CX11 users with good quality Epson S050187
(yellow), S050188 (magenta), S050189 (cyan) and S050190 (black)
compatible toner cartridges for a fraction of the cost of OEM
replacement cartridges. OEM Epson cartridges are sold at $120 a piece
while compatibles currently retail from between $30 to $34 per cartridge
unit. The mentioned Epson compatible cartridges can also be used on the
Epson C1100 Aculaser printer.</p><p>Epson compatible toner
cartridges were manufactured based on the quality standards and
processes conformed to in the production of OEM toner cartridges. This
will therefore assure users that the third party consumables will not
fail prematurely and can even be more reliable than the OEM. Apart from
its cost advantages, said third party toner cartridges can deliver
similar print quality and identical yield of 4,000 pages based on 5%
coverage just like its OEM counterpart.</p><p>Consider using

compatible toner cartridges</a> when your OEM cartridge dries up.

cartridge!</p><p>Jeric O. Tero supplies web content for

<p>Epson Ink Cartridges for Best Results<br>
By <a href="http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Keith_Newby" >Keith Newby</a></p>
<p>Seiko Epson are in the business of delivering inspirational
technology for a better future. As a company, Seiko Epson has evolved
greatly since starting out as watchmakers over 60 years ago. One thing
that they claim hasn't changed, is their commitment to creating
ground-breaking technologies that enable us, their customers to exceed
our vision. As print, projection and display needs change, Seiko Epson
respond with products that break through the barriers of what is
currently possible.</p><p>Seiko Epson are now a household
name thanks to their ink cartridges. Epson ink cartridges have become
one of the most popular of all ink cartridges in common use. This is of
course because the range of Epson printers is one of the biggest on the
market. In fact, they have become almost an industry standard in
computer ink jet printers, renowned for their simplicity and ease of
use, as well as their high quality printing results. From the early days
of dot matrix printers to the present day advanced ink jet printers the
company has steadily progressed, and now there are probably more Epson
ink cartridges sold than any other brand.</p><p>The Seiko
Epson Corporation is more commonly known simply as Epson. They are one
of the biggest manufacturers of printers for computers, which in turn
means they are also one of the biggest manufacturers of Epson ink
cartridges. The company has its headquarters in Japan, but has offices
worldwide in most countries. Their computer printers are rightly famous
for their excellent quality of print that sets a very high standard
indeed.</p><p>Epson ink cartridges are easy to use. They are
purchased in packaging that protects the cartridge and are numbered
depending on colour and the model they are designed for. Each printer
has its own special cartridge that is not interchangeable with another
printer in most cases. The cartridges have to be gently shaken before
being used and handled carefully as well. If an Epson ink cartridge is
damaged before it is fitted to a printer, it will most likely not
work.</p><p>Modern <a target="_new" rel="nofollow"
href="http://www.365ink.co.uk/">Epson ink cartridges</a> have a
small electronic chip attached to them that is sensed and read to tell
the printer and computer that the cartridge is full of ink. If the chip
is touched or even damaged, the chip may not function properly and the
cartridge will not be able to be used, despite being full of ink. If the
printer cannot read the chip it doesn't know that it holds ink. For
this reason it is very important to handle all Epson ink cartridge very
careful while installing them. If you do find yourself in this position,
it is sometimes possible to clean the chips with a soft tissue and
re-insert them into your printer.</p><p>As with any printing
device, always buy original manufacturers ink cartridges for your
printer or you may find that if you do have any problems, your warranty
may be void.</p><p>Serious about good quality, low cost
printer ink and toner cartridges? Keith Newby invites you to take a look
at 365INK. An online ink supplier guaranteed to offer you the very best
discounted prices for all branded original and re-manufactured ink and
toner cartridges.</p><p>"We are totally committed to

Comparison Between HP Inks and Epson Inks
When buying printers, it is important to
consider the ink cartridges or toners because that is something you
will be buying repeatedly. If the print quality isn't up to your
expectation, you may find yourself stuck with an unsatisfactory printer.
When buying printers, it is important to consider
the ink cartridges or toners because that is something you will be
buying repeatedly. If the print quality isn't up to your expectation,
you may find yourself stuck with an unsatisfactory printer. Two major
competing brands in the market place are HP and Epson. It's a matter of
time that you will come across these two brands and start comparing. The reason why the two brands are so popular is that they both have their key advantages. For
Epson, the emphasis has always been on print quality. Therefore, a lot
of emphasis has been placed on the technology that manages the printing
process. For example, the chip in the ink cartridge helps to stabilize
the printing process, making sure that every point on the ink cartridge
functions properly. The chip also helps with communication that
happens between the printer and the computer. Whenever the level of ink
is low, this can be displayed on the PC using special software.
Information about printing yield, which is important to all businesses,
is also available. Epson uses a non-foam technology that is
different from conventional ink cartridges. Foam based ink cartridges
have been known to distribute ink unevenly. With its SmartValve
technology, Epson has been able to overcome this problem. When
you look at the level of sophistication of Epson's print cartridges,
two things come to mind - reliability and quality. To date, Epson has
been able to capture a large portion of the market share as consumers
have become more savvy about ink cartridge technology. Many consumers
are happy with the level of service that Epson provides. HP also
provides excellent service. But the technology that it employs is not
as sophisticated. HP executives have decided that cost is the prime
concern. Therefore, much of the focus has been placed on informing
consumers about the cost savings. No doubt, cost is an important
concern, especially for businesses that print in large volume. HP
cartridges claim to print as much as 15% to 20% more than conventional
cartridges. Consumers who have used HP's printing solutions find
the printers and ink to perform reasonably well. Printing is fast, and
the ink dries quickly enough to prevent smearing. However, if you want
to improve the quality of printing, you may have to use higher quality
paper that absorbs ink better. This inevitably leads to higher cost. So
the decision to use Epson or HP printers depends on what is more
important to you. Do you prefer quality and reliability, or are you
primarily concerned about cost? Both brands offer its own unique
advantages. HP appears to offer inferior printing quality at
first glance. But they have been improving their printing quality by
using better inks. Today, they boast that the inks they use are
light-fade resistance, ozone-fade resistance, and scratch and water
resistance. This makes HP ink cartridges a very attractive option for
home and small business owners.

Epson PP-100 - Ultimate Disc Publishing Solution
Recently I was told to buy a disk publisher for my office and within no

Many of my colleagues were not very sure about the justification of my

Recently I was told to buy a disk publisher for
my office and within no time, I placed the order immediately for Epson
PP-100 without comparing other options. Everyone was amazed seeing my
faith in Epson PP-100. Many of my colleagues were not very sure about
the justification of my decision. Ultimately, Riverproaudio delivered
the ordered Epson much earlier than the quoted period. Now, the nest
task for me was to get the gadget installed at the most convenient
place. I opened the box and found a pack of blank CDs free as a
surprise along with 6 ink cartridges, USB cable and power cable.
Because of its 14.84 (W) x 18.30 (D) x 13.70 (H) size, its placement
was not a problem. After the installation, everyone in the office was
impressed with the outputs and appreciated my decision of buying Epson
PP-100. Why were they so impressed? One hundred disks can be loaded into the three trays each having the capacity of 50 discs. AcuGrip
robotics eliminates every possibility of extracting double disks at one
time. So, no more wastage of disks. Epson PP-100 is developed as an
intelligent disc producer, so individual disc or very small batch can
be printed with specific design. Ink output can be optimized and
adjusted according to the specific requirements; it helps to maximize
the output from each cartridge. LED indicators tell about the ink level
so you can replace the cartridge at right time avoiding the possibility
of creating incomplete CD prints. 6-colour Micro Piezo technology makes
it possible to print long lasting prints over Watersheld. These prints
are more resistant to moisture, handling scratches and lights. These
are designed to work equally better even in the harshest environmental
conditions, so hardly need any routine investment for maintenance. When
we started to take CD prints from Epson PP-100, the difference was
clearly visible to everyone. Even some of our clients also admired the
proven quality of CDs prints and it was real return for investing in
Epson PP-100 disk publisher.

Your final choice of an inkjet printer should boil down to the exact
features that you need. Some of the best devices from both companies
will be compared in various angles to make the decision easier. Design Canon
is famous for their PIXMA series, with each model often having a black
and curvy finish to blend in well with black desktops, laptops and
other peripherals. Epson's printers take a more traditional approach
while their photo printers end up being quite compact. Technologies and Features Canon's
latest PIXMA models like the iP2702 are ideal for printing clear photos
without depending on a laser, so the cost of the printer is lower. It
uses a special system known as ChromaLife100+ for printing photos that
are long-lasting. It even comes with a software package called "Auto
Photo Fix II", which enhances the quality of the photo. Borderless
print options are available and speedy as well. It is also efficient in
printing sharp text as it is backed with the Pigment Back Ink
technology. The price of the iP2702 is roughly £45and Epson has a
few models that have the same price tag as well such as the Epson
Stylus D120. This printer is aimed more towards the versatility of
printing pages faster using a technology called the Dual Black System
which virtually doubles the print speeds of traditional inkjet
printers. The quality is up there as well thanks to the Epson DURABride
Ultra Ink technology which is comparable to the quality of laser
prints. Although the Epson Stylus D120 isn't designed as a colour
inkjet printer like the iP2702, it manages to print some impressive
glossy photos. Variety Epson offers a greater variety of
printers with prices starting £50 and rising beyond £700 where high
quality office and photo printers are being offered. Epson looks to be
a good choice for people that want a great selection of printers that
can do a lot of different things so that a photo printer and laser
printer aren't needed in the same room. Canon has a significant
advantage in photo printers since Canon offers a greater variety of
digital cameras than Epson. Features like camera connectivity and
overall photo quality are their strong points while Epson makes a
slightly bigger impact for businesses. Overall Quality Taking
the technologies and different models into the equation, both Canon and
Epson showcase some fantastic models for both business and home users.
Users that want a reliable photo printer should stick with a Canon
brand, even though Epson offers some decent models as well. Canon
camera owners will better benefit from the consistent photo quality
coming from the image down to the print. Epson shouldn't be counted out
either because of their innovative technologies that prove that inkjets
will still have a place in the industry despite the success of laser
printers.
